ROUND ROCK, Texas, February 18, 2010 – The Children’s Courtyard is excited to announce the opening of its newest school, located at 2700 Sam Bass Rd. in Round Rock. To celebrate, they are hosting a variety of fun-filled family activities over the next month to celebrate. All of the events are open to the community and local families are encouraged to share in the festivities. In fact, for every event families attend, they will be entered into a drawing to win a free month of tuition!
The first event will take place on Thursday, March 4th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Families can come in for a free photo of their child taken by professional photographers from LifeTouch.
Family Game Night with a Spaghetti Dinner will take place on Tuesday, March 11th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Families can participate in a number of fun games and activities – while having a great dinner – and can even win a Family Game Kit to take home!
The Children’s Courtyard is also going green on Wednesday, March 17th. Students will be planting a tree and placing stepping stones with their handprints around it. There will also be a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. as they kick-off their green campaign with the delivery of their new recycling container.
The Children’s Courtyard understands how difficult it can be for parents to find time to spend together, so they are pleased to host Parent’s Night Out on Friday, March 19th from 6:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. For a small fee, parents can enjoy “date” night, while their children are in a safe, nurturing environment having fun with friends. And don’t worry about dinner – The Children’s Courtyard will be providing students with pizza and ice cream!
On Thursday, March 25th from 5:00-8:00 p.m., the school is hosting an Open House / Summer Sneak-Peek event. This is a great opportunity to tour the beautiful new school, meet the highly- qualified teachers and learn more about The Children’s Courtyard exciting Summer Camp program. There will be a variety of family-friendly activities, food and refreshments and more!
Finally, the events will culminate with a BBQ on Tuesday, March 30th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The celebration will include great food, refreshments, family portraits, an egg hunt, arts and crafts and a special performance by Joe McDermott, a Parents’ Choice Award winning songwriter for children.
