Austin, Houston, Dallas-Forth Worth, March 8, 2011 – The Children’s Courtyard, a leader in early education and child care throughout Texas, is pleased to announce that its family of schools has raised over $86,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). The money will support the organization’s three core programs – the Ronald McDonald House®, Ronald McDonald Family Room® and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® – locally and around the country.
More than 60 of The Children’s Courtyard schools in Texas – along with some of its sister schools – hosted Fall Festival events throughout November to raise money for the non-profit organization. The community-based events were family-friendly and inspired the community to support the cause.
“Ronald McDonald House Charities is an organization committed to the health and well-being of children – a value that holds true to all of us at The Children’s Courtyard,” said Jodi Johnson, regional vice president for the company. “We are so proud of what our schools accomplished and truly appreciate our teachers, children and parents for helping make our Fall Festival events a great success.”
Following the great response from their families during Fall Festival, the schools have continued their fundraising efforts for RMHC and have held a food drive and collected gift cards for their local Ronald McDonald House.
