LCG families can take advantage of recently expanded child care program, Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood
[NOVI, MI] — As Memorial Day approaches, Learning Care Group (LCG), the second-largest early education and child care provider in North America, is celebrating its commitment to military families and showing its appreciation for the nation’s men and women in uniform through exclusive perks and continued partnerships with organizations like MilitaryChildCare.com that make high-quality child care more accessible and affordable for military families.
LCG is among the largest providers of off-base child care for military families nationwide and proudly offers an exclusive 10% service member discount. LCG also works with a number of subsidy programs supporting military families, including Military Child Care In Your Neighborhood and Child Care Development Block Grants.
LCG is excited about the continued investment in the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood – PLUS (MCCYN) program. Offered by the Department of Defense, the expanded MYCCN program (available in 18 states) aims to bridge the child care gap by enhancing military families’ ability to access the high-quality child care that best fits their needs.
Recognizing the unique challenges faced by military families during deployments, LCG has implemented the SproutAbout app, an encrypted and tightly controlled live video platform, across all its schools. Using their mobile device, parents can stay connected to and engaged in their child’s daily activities from virtually anywhere.
