Redirection Kits

Anything that requires a child to adapt or change is likely to cause childhood stress. Coronavirus is affecting all our lives, including the lives of our children. They are not able to do things they are used to doing, such as going to school and playing with their friends. As a result, during your time home, you may see your child exhibiting challenging behaviors.

Redirection is a technique used to move children from an undesired behavior to a more acceptable choice. This helps children learn the difference between inappropriate behaviors and appropriate behaviors in a positive way.

These Redirection Kits include interactive and independent activities to help redirect challenging behaviors while you’re at home. There are two different kits to choose from:

  • Movement and Engagement - Choose this kit if you think your child’s challenging behavior is primarily due to lack of movement or engaging activities.
  • Stress - Choose this kit if you think your child’s challenging behavior is due to feeling stress about the current situation.
