Why Should Your Company Consider Open Access?

  • Open Access provides flexible options that leverage LCG schools as well as other licensed child care centers or the private care market.
  • Open Access provides equity in your current benefit program by extending assistance to those employees that live in rural areas, work nights and weekends, or have a need that requires an alternative child care environment.

How Does Open Access Work?

  • Open Access with Any Licensed Child Care* – Parents not only have the option of sending their children to an LCG school in their area, they can also utilize any other licensed child care facility. If the employee uses an LCG center, the program remains the same. Should the employee choose a non-LCG center, they will pay the full amount of tuition up front and submit a receipt for reimbursement of the pre-determined company contribution.
  • Open Access with Licensed Child Care and Privately-Secured Care* – Same program as above; however, privately secured care is permitted in addition to LCG schools and any licensed child care centers. Privately secured care can include friends and family, babysitters, or non-licensed facilities.

*At LCG, our more than 1,070 community schools are licensed and insured. All LCG caregivers must pass a thorough background check. When selecting a non-LCG school through Open Access, each family takes on the responsibility to perform their own review and determine their own confidence and comfort in that child care option. Please note that LCG does not complete background checks, site visits, or a licensing review of non-affiliated and/or third-party child care providers outside of the LCG brands of schools.
