About our Brands

Founded in 1967 as a division of Gerber Products Corp., Childtime has grown to a network of more than 275 schools. Our home-like setting, caring teachers and safe comfortable environment make Childtime the perfect place for children to play, laugh and discover.
We design our programs to develop the whole child, encouraging children’s progress at their own pace in five critical developmental areas: physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language. Because experts agree that children learn best when they can make choices, challenge themselves and have fun, our programs nurture children’s curiosity to explore and learn through play.
Childtime’s research-driven proprietary curriculum, The Empowered Child™, was inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach – the fastest growing method to early learning – and focuses on three components of a quality early childhood education experience: developmentally appropriate practices, a home-like learning environment and quality teacher-child interactions.
This approach has been embraced by various well-known early childhood education organizations, including the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Childtime offers a variety of flexible programs for children ages six weeks to 12 years old.

Established in 1988, the Tutor Time Child Care / Learning Centers network is comprised of more than 125 corporate and nearly 75 franchise schools throughout the Unites States, with international locations in Portugal, Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Preparing children for success is the inspiration for everything we do at Tutor Time. We provide a unique blend of care and education in our state-of-the-art facilities to guide children’s first steps toward a lifelong love for learning.
Tutor Time’s curriculum is the cornerstone of our care and we are committed to growing the whole child: cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally.
Our proprietary curriculum, Tutor Time LifeSmart™, was created by early education specialists and national experts, and incorporates activities that encourage exploration, investigation and discovery. LifeSmart™ utilizes a variety of the latest research-driven learning techniques, including the developmental theory of “multiple intelligences.” At Tutor Time, we call these our “Eight Smarts.”
We nurture your child’s uniqueness, while supporting the development of problem-solving and critical thinking skills vital to success later in life. Tutor Time’s curriculum prepares children for success in elementary school and sets them apart on a path of life-long learning.

The Children’s Courtyard was founded in Arlington, Texas in 1986 and acquired by Learning Care Group, Inc. in September 2006. Today, The Children’s Courtyard operates more than 50 schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin and Houston areas, serving children from six weeks to 13 years old.
The Children’s Courtyard offers high-quality early childhood education and care in beautiful home-like settings that are furnished with state-of-the-art, age-appropriate equipment to meet children’s developmental needs. We understand that all children have different learning styles and cultures, so our teaching approach takes into account each child’s individuality. Our teaching materials include systems for assessment of educational skills so teachers can build concrete, purposeful learning activities for each child.
In addition, 83 percent of The Children’s Courtyard schools are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the industry’s leading authority on early childhood education. Our remaining schools are currently involved in the accreditation process. Only four percent of early childhood programs nationally have achieved this endorsement.

Chicago-based La Petite Academy, Inc. joined the Learning Care Group family in January 2007. As one of the largest early education and child care providers, La Petite Academy operates more than 550 locations in 36 states and the District of Columbia.
The La Petite Journey® curriculum is based on the early learning goals outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We believe in a total approach to learning, focusing on six areas of development, including Language, Cognitive, Socio-Emotional, Physical, Creativity-Arts and Character Building. Each of our programs is based on age-appropriate learning objectives and is designed to keep your child on the right pace for their development.
We offer a range of education and care programs for children between the ages of six weeks to 12 years old. Each of our academies is licensed by the state in which it operates and we adhere to the highest standards of safety, security, cleanliness, teaching and loving care.

Montessori Unlimited is a family of 28 schools, located in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Oregon and Texas. As the largest provider of the traditional Montessori education, each of our schools is a faithful reflection of Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision and method.
Guided by the belief that children teach themselves, our classrooms provide a prepared environment designed to stimulate each child’s interest in reading, mathematics, geography and science. We use classic materials throughout the classrooms, including puzzle maps and trinomial cubes, with each piece meticulously designed according to official Montessori specifications.
All of our teachers have earned a teaching certificate and completed hundreds of hours of specialized training in the Montessori method. They observe and meet the needs of each child, enabling him or her to develop the habits, attitudes, skills and ideas that lead to creative thinking and learning. At Montessori Unlimited schools, learning is an unending adventure that inspires a lifetime of discovery.
