Beck joined Learning Care Group in March 2011 as Chief Executive Officer. In this position, she is focused on the company’s mission of building a customer-centric culture that is based on educational excellence, quality and innovation.

Most recently, Beck served as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations at Manpower, Inc., the world’s leader in innovative workforce solutions. This region was the largest business unit within Manpower, generating over $8 billion in revenues with 11,000 employees across 30 countries. She joined Manpower in January 2002 as Executive Vice President of United States and Canadian Operations.

Earlier, she spent 15 years with Sprint, the global communications provider, in a variety of roles including Area Vice President and General Manager for the western United States. Her tenure included leadership of technical sales and applications engineering, business development, customer service, operations, technical support and program management.

Beck has a passion for education and began her professional career in the industry. She has been recognized as one of the “Top 15 Women in Business” by Pink Magazine and received the 2008 Ruban d’Honneur, Business Leader of the Year, at the European Business Awards for demonstrating exceptional leadership and vision.

A strong advocate of women’s issues, Beck is a member of the Harvard University Women’s Leadership Board, working to advance women globally through leadership, advocacy and dialogue on public policy. From 2007 to 2011, she served on the Davos, Switzerland based World Economic Forum’s Women Leaders Advisory Board, dedicated to establishing strategies to improve women’s lives on a global basis. Beck was also a founding member of Catalyst Europe’s Board of Advisors and the Cherie Blair Foundation.

Since 2008, she has been a member of the Board of Directors for Ecolab, the global leader in cleaning, sanitizing, food safety and infection prevention products and services, serving on the Finance and Compensation Committees.

Beck holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Colorado.
